Shop and Give or Give Back While You Shop...

Shop and give or give back while you shop, however you look at it, I can't think of a better way to shop for the holidays and beyond...

StyleSubstanceSoul Gift ideas for the holidays, a guide to shops that give back to charity/are eco friendly. Perfect ideas for all your gift giving needs that not only fulfill the wishes of your closest  friends and relatives, but give back to the community and the earth :)

Etsy What could more eco friendly than vintage and handmade? Etsy is filled with handmade and vintage goodness of all kinds. You name it and you can probably find it here, as long as it's handmade or vintage (over 20 years old, by Etsy standards). Shop local for even more earth friendly, sociologically sound points.

ArtFire Like Etsy, but not quite as large, filled with handmade and vintage fun stuff for everyone.

Awesome Entrepreneurs (Black Friday Deals From Awesome Entrepreneurs) While not all of this Pinterest board is handmade/vintage, much of it is and if you hurry, there are still some great deals to be had and some awesome finds for holiday shopping.

Handmadeology Market More handmade and vintage finds for eco friendly gift giving.

The Breast Cancer Site or Greater Good. Shopping here gives back to a number of charities. While you're shopping, sign up for their click a day reminders. Each click is paid for by their supporters and gives money to support research and awareness.

Goodwill No, really Goodwill. Did you know that you can shop and bid for Goodwill items on-line? You can and not only can you shop nationally, but you can shop your local Goodwill store. You can either pick up the items or have them shipped. It's always an adventure with tons of hidden gems :)

Have you found any great eco friendly markets for holiday gift giving?

Great list! There are a few on there I've never heard of and will have to check out.

Later this week I'm going to an Etsy Bazaar holiday craft show here in Nashville. I'm excited its related to Etsy and can't wait to see what's there!

and speaking of goodwill...you can sign up to receive a monthly discount coupon to shop with in their stores. Mine was 20% this month. I love treasure hunting!
