Tacoma, WA is a mix of industrial & rural, less stuck in between, a mix of both worlds & more of an existence on both ends of the spectrum. On one side you have a major shipping port, home to the Chihully Glass Museum & at the other you have farmlands & dairies, without any buffered mixture of sights in between...

Lovely sunset :-) I've seen many scenes similar to this one on cross country road trips. Love taking those "B" roads!
I have never been to Tacoma... but you paint a very intersting picture!
