Hi everyone! Here's one of the things I've been working on recently, Southwest inspired, hand embroidered velvet earrings:

| Front only: hand embroidered flowers & stitching on velvet |

| Back only: hand stitching on vintage fabric |

| Front & back: wire wrapped beaded fringe using black seed beads (extras from a beaded sweater), copper beads, clear glass seed beads (from the ends of purchased bead strings), green glass beads, square metal frame, pink copper wire, vintage gold color wire |
These were made for a jewelry challenge, to be shipped out soon.

Hi Debbie, thank you! They are for a swap. I have another pair of embroidered earrings (teardrop shape, cotton) & I plan on adding more of these to the shop. I really like the velvet.
Wow--- Those are pretty amazing- can't image how much work they require!
I really love these. My ears have been "unpierced, ie: grown in) for a while now, but I've recently decided to re pierce them and get out all my old earrings again. *And* of course, buy some new ones These are really beautiful, I love the idea of velvet. What an endless variety of images you could put on them! Beautiful and creative!
